Letter H Phonics Worksheet — the /h/ sound
The letter H makes the soft, breathy /h/ sound you hear at the start of Hat, House and Horse. It is the gentlest of sounds, made simply by breathing out, like the warm puff you make on a cold mirror, "h, h, Hat".
