Personalised Diwali Gift for Kids
A printable activity book makes a thoughtful Diwali gift for children aged 3–7: it arrives instantly, costs little, keeps little hands busy away from screens, and can carry the child's own name on the cover. This guide explains what a personalised Diwali activity book includes, how to print and wrap it so it feels like a real present, ideas to give with it, and how to choose between our free sample, the full pack and the personalised edition.
Why a Printable Activity Book Makes a Good Diwali Gift
- It is ready in minutes: you download a PDF, so there is no shipping and nothing to wait for
- It works across distances: grandparents abroad can buy it and email it to family in India, or the other way round
- It is screen-free: colouring, mazes, counting and crafts give children something calm to do during busy festival days
- It lasts beyond one afternoon: with 45 activities, a child can come back to it all week
- It can be printed again: if a page gets torn or scribbled on, simply print another copy for your family
What a Personalised Diwali Activity Book Includes
The Personalised Diwali Learning & Activity Pack is the same 55-page book as the full pack, rebuilt with the details you enter: your child's name, age and preferred language. In the finished PDF:
- Your child's name is printed on the cover, with a Diwali greeting in the language you chose
- The name is filled in at the top of the personal pages, so there is no blank "Name:" line
- The alphabet tracing page ends with your child's name to trace instead of the word "Diwali"
- The story page becomes "[Name]'s Diwali Story"
- The 7-day challenge certificate is made out to your child
- If you choose Hindi or Marathi, that language's festival words page comes first in the learning section
What's Inside the Book
Both the full and personalised editions have 45 activities across 55 A4 pages for ages 3–7:
- Learning: counting diyas, number tracing 1–20, simple addition and subtraction, alphabet tracing, patterns and shapes
- Festival words: a Hindi page, a Marathi page and an English vocabulary page, each with pictures and meanings
- Puzzles: mazes, spot the difference, shadow matching, I spy, a word search and picture sudoku
- Creative pages: decorate a diya, colour and design a rangoli, design a kandil, colouring pages and a greeting card to make
- Games: Diwali bingo, memory cards, a scavenger hunt, charades and a family quiz
- Family pages: my Diwali story, favourite memory, gratitude and a kindness challenge
- A 7-day challenge, a certificate, answers for grown-ups and a black-and-white version to save ink
How to Print and Wrap It as a Gift
A few small touches turn a PDF into a present a child will be excited to open.
- Print on A4 paper; slightly thicker paper (around 100 gsm) feels more like a book and stands up to crayons
- Print the cover in colour and use the black-and-white version for inside pages if you want to save ink
- Staple along the left edge, use a clip binder, or punch holes and tie the pages with a ribbon
- Tuck the pages into a folder or large envelope and decorate it with a rangoli pattern or diya stickers
- Keep the answer pages and certificate aside, so you can hand over the certificate when the 7-day challenge is done
Small Things to Give With It
The book needs only crayons and a pencil, but a few extras make the gift feel complete:
- A new box of crayons or colour pencils
- Child-safe scissors and a glue stick for the craft pages
- A plain clay diya to paint, to go with the "Decorate Your Diya" page
- A small pack of rangoli colours or coloured chalk
- A sticker sheet to reward each finished day of the challenge
Can I Use It as a Return Gift?
The pack licence covers printing for your own family or classroom, and the PDF should not be resold or shared publicly. Teachers can print it for their own class.
If you would like to print copies as return gifts for children from other families at a Diwali party, please email us at hello@tinylearnprintables.com first and tell us how many you need.
Which Edition Should I Choose?
Both paid editions are an instant PDF download after payment, and you can download them again from My Downloads on the same device.
